About Viayaam

Practice first.
Everything else follows.

Viayaam isn’t a brand that discovered yoga β€” it’s a practice that became a way of teaching. No shortcuts, no performance. Just breath, alignment and the discipline of showing up daily.

The teacher

Rooted in real practice

Behind Viayaam is a teacher whose practice was shaped by the Iyengar tradition β€” precision in alignment, patience with progress, and respect for the body's honest limits. Years of daily sadhana, hundreds of hours of filmed pose work, and classes taught to students from complete beginners to fellow teachers.

The name says it: viayaam β€” exercise, effort, discipline. Yoga here is not an aesthetic. It's work you can feel, taught in a way you can trust.

To fill in: teacher's name, years of practice and formal certifications. This paragraph is drafted from the visual archive; swap in the first-person story when ready.
The path

How we practise

Janu sirsasana with alignment cues annotated
01 β€” Alignment before ambition

Every pose, taught precisely

Each asana is broken down cue by cue β€” where the weight sits, what the spine does, what to press and what to soften. The filmed pose encyclopedia behind our classes covers standing, seated, inversion and chair work, each shot from angles that show the honest mechanics.

Pranayama β€” the art of breath control
02 β€” Breath is the teacher

Pranayama, practised daily

Ujjayi, nadi shodhana, kapalbhati β€” breathwork is not a warm-up here, it's the spine of the practice. Movement follows breath, never the other way around.

Assisted paschimottanasana adjustment
03 β€” Hands-on teaching

Students, not followers

From daily group classes to one-on-one work with students like Petra, Bianca and Kira β€” the teaching adapts to the body in front of it. Props, chairs, walls, whatever serves the pose.

Seated meditation facing the sea
04 β€” Beyond the mat

A practice that travels

Beaches, rooftops, temples, small rooms β€” the practice doesn't need a perfect studio. It needs consistency. That's what we share on @viayaam, and behind the scenes on @sauvibe.
